General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.
I see the blood lab test of your baby girl and for its age referring to normal range she has a low level for HGB 8.6 mg/dl (0.0086g/dl) (normal for its age 10.5-14.0 g/dl), MCV (normal range 72-88 fl), MCH (normal range 24-30 pg), and MCHC (normal range 32-36%) .This result indicates for microcytic hypochromic anemia.
The cause of this anemia are iron deficency, thalassemia or inflamatio. To determine the type of it I recommend you to do to your daughter iron blood test, HGB electrophoresis and inflamation tests.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Kind regard,
Dr .Marsida Janko
